Given that we have previously submitted supporting comments against the former application 2024/92938 for conversion of the upper floors, it follows that we also support this further application.

Two points to note. Previously we mentioned the issue of noise. We note the current application states that “acoustic window units” will be installed to reduce noise between the street and apartments at ground floor level. This hopefully will reduce noise from the adjacent street.

 Secondly, we note this is for three units, two of which are fairly minimal with a  particularly awkward layout for the 37sqm unit . We question if this is  adequate and acceptable in meeting minimum standards and whether consideration was given to limiting this proposal to two units?
